Rust Remover Spray - Perfect solution for corrosion:
When you see a piece of red, or any other colour, car paint that’s chipped and scratched, it’s easy to assume that the vehicle is not worth much. However, this assumption might not always be true. Remember that most cars are sold at a used price instead of an old price. Even though most people will look at the outside appearance first when making their purchase decision, there are many instances where a buyer might find out later on that they bought an expensive lemon. Reducing value is different from reducing cost. When talking about cars and their prices, reducing value can be very tricky for some car owners who have spent a great deal on customising their vehicles with special colours or parts. How do you reduce the value of your car when it’s already been reduced in cost? With the help of car-specific rust remover spray for cars, you will be able to breathe new life into what seems like an old and useless vehicle with just a few sprays. Rust off spray is very useful in removing all kinds of rust from the car.

WD-40
I had a neighbor who bought a new pickup.
I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown reason).
I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news.
He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do... probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open.
Another neighbor came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off.
It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint job that was on the truck.
I was impressed!WD-40 who knew?
"Water Displacement #40".
The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts. WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company.
Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'Water Displacement' Compound.
They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth attempt, thus WD-40.
The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts. Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you.
When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works just as well as on glass.
Then try it on your stove-top. It's now shinier than it's ever been. You'll be amazed.
WD-40 Uses:
Protects silver from tarnishing.
Removes road tar and grime from cars.
Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.
Gives floor that 'just-waxed' sheen without making them slippery.
Keeps the flies off of Cows, Horses, and other Farm Critters, as well.
Restores and cleans chalkboards.
Removes lipstick stains.
Loosens stubborn zippers.
Untangles jewelry chains.
Removes stains from stainless steel sinks.
Removes dirt and grime from the barbecue grill.
Keeps ceramic/terracotta garden pots from oxidizing.
Removes tomato stains from clothing.
Keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.
Camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors.
Keeps scissors working smoothly.
Lubricates noisy door hinges on both home and vehicles doors.
Removes that nasty tar and scuff marks from the kitchen flooring. It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off. Just remember to open some windows if you have a lot of marks.
Removes those nasty bug guts that will eat away the finish on your car if not removed quickly!
Gives a children's playground gym slide a shine for a super fast slide.
Lubricates gearshift and mower deck lever for ease of handling on riding mowers.
Rids kids rocking chair and swings of squeaky noises.
Lubricates tracks in sticking home windows and makes them easier to open.
Spraying an umbrella stem makes it easier to open and close.
Restores and cleans padded leather dashboards in vehicles, as well as vinyl bumpers.
Restores and cleans roof racks on vehicles.
Lubricates and stops squeaks in electric fans.
Lubricates wheel sprockets on tricycles, wagons, and bicycles for easy handling.
Lubricates drive belts on washers and dryers and keeps them running smoothly.
Keeps rust from forming on saws and saw blades, and other tools.
Removes grease splatters from stove-tops.
Keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.
Lubricates prosthetic limbs.
Keeps pigeons off the balcony (they hate the smell).
Removes all traces of duct tape.
Folks even spray it on their arms, hands, and knees to relieve arthritis pain.
Florida's favorite use is: 'cleans and removes love bugs from grills and bumpers.'
The favorite use in the state of New York, it protects the Statue of Liberty from the elements.
Attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you will be catching the big one in no time.
Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and stops the itch.
It is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray it on the marks and wipe with a clean rag.
Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry, saturate the lipstick spots with WD-40 and rewash. Presto! The lipstick is gone!
If you spray it inside a wet distributor cap, it will displace the moisture, allowing the engine to start.
And FYI - the main Ingredient is - FISH OIL.

Give Up the Ghost, Ch. 2
Tumblr media
hey howdy hey, folks.
here’s chapter 2... after 2 1/2 months wait, you get 13k worth of me just screaming about these two a new chapter and a finished story!
thank you to @justwandering-neverlost for all your continued support and constant warmth and patience (also, beautiful moodboard incoming). and of course to all the Discord ferals. (especially to @gaygingersnaps and @quarantineddreamer for dragging me out of a pit of despair).
PREVIEW:
Cassian flinches at the sting of the needle being removed and the droid sprays the incision with bacta. “Water,” he rasps as he searches the empty room for any evidence that he hadn’t simply dreamt up Jyn the night before. Perhaps his dreams had lingered. “Please.”
The meddroid beeps in response, trundles off to do as asked and Cassian leans his head back against the rough wall, takes in a great, cleansing breath.
His life had been whittled down to a pin light just days ago— a flash of gold on the ocean, the hot spray of boiling sea and yet he is sitting in the quiet calm of the med-bay of Yavin IV.
He’d become well-practiced at spotting death over the years. It had become something of a habit, a study, a challenge he readily accepted. One he even sought out, at times.
”Kill me, or take me in.”
But, on Scarif, death hadn’t flinched. It hadn’t suddenly smiled in strange gratitude or taken a little bit too long to explain itself. On Scarif death was simply an immutable fact, a law of the universe: Cassian Andor was doomed to die.
And here he is, back twinging and throat sticking with thirst and badly needing a swig of revnog or something… and it’s a just a bit too much.
He flexes his hand again, the tingling fading now, and looks to the crook of his elbow. The only remnant of the needle that had saved him is a small, rust red scab. He knows, medically speaking, that her blood has been resorbed and recycled by his body, is identical to his own by now, but he also knows that he will always feel the spirit of it there under his skin. The memory. An echo in his veins.
read it on ao3!

What are the painting methods to prevent iron from rusting? - Trywonderx
At Trywonderx, we specialize in providing painting methods to prevent iron from rusting. We have extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to the Painting Iron to Prevent Rusting and the prevention of rusting over time. Our products and services are always of the highest quality and our commitment to providing a lasting solution to iron rust is something that has made us an industry leader. We are proud of the service we provide and guarantee the best results for our customers every time.
One of the most common methods to prevent iron from rusting is to apply a coating of paint. The paint creates a physical barrier between the iron and the surrounding air and moisture, preventing the iron from coming into contact with oxygen and water, which are necessary for the rusting process to occur.
There are different types of paint that can be used for this purpose, such as oil-based paints, epoxy paints, and zinc-rich paints. Each type has its advantages and disadvantages, and the choice will depend on the specific needs of the application.
Other Painting Iron to Prevent Rusting  methods that can help prevent rusting include using a primer before applying the paint, as this can provide additional protection against moisture. Additionally, regular maintenance and touch-ups to the paint coating can help ensure its longevity and effectiveness in preventing rust.
It's worth noting that while Painting Iron to Prevent Rusting  is an effective method for preventing rust, it's not always a permanent solution. Over time, paint coatings can wear down or become damaged, which can allow moisture and oxygen to reach the iron and lead to rusting. Therefore, it's important to monitor the condition of painted surfaces and perform maintenance as necessary to ensure their continued protection.
How to apply: Technique tips and tricks
Applying paint to prevent rust requires careful preparation and application techniques to ensure the coating is effective and long-lasting. Here are some tips and tricks for applying paint to prevent rust:
Surface preparation: Before applying any paint, it's important to prepare the surface by removing any existing rust, dirt, oil, or other contaminants that may prevent the paint from adhering properly. This can be done using a wire brush, sandpaper, or a chemical rust remover. Once the surface is clean, dry, and free of debris, it's ready for painting.
Choose the right paint: There are different types of paint available for preventing rust, and it's important to choose the right one for the specific application. Oil-based paints are commonly used for outdoor surfaces, while epoxy and zinc-rich paints are often used in harsher environments or for industrial applications. Consult with a paint supplier or expert if you're unsure which type of paint is best for your needs.
Apply a primer: Applying a primer before the paint can help improve the adhesion and longevity of the paint coating. The primer can also provide additional protection against moisture and rust. Choose a primer that's compatible with the paint you're using and apply it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Apply the paint: When applying the paint, use a brush, roller, or spray gun, depending on the size and shape of the surface. Apply thin, even coats, and allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. This will help ensure that the paint coating is uniform and provides complete coverage.
Touch-ups and maintenance: Even with the best preparation and application techniques, paint coatings can become damaged over time. Regular maintenance and touch-ups can help prolong the life of the paint and prevent rust from forming. Keep an eye out for any areas where the paint has chipped or worn away and apply a fresh coat of paint as necessary.
By following these tips and tricks, you can help ensure that your painted surfaces remain rust-free and protected for years to come.
Conclusion:
In conclusion,we would like to remind readers that proper Painting Iron to Prevent Rusting  methods can help prevent rust and keep your iron looking its best. Contact Trywonderx today to learn more about our painting services!

YOU HAVE A ROBOT AU?? please please please a snip or two if you have any 🙏
I do!! the original idea belongs to either @ewanspotter, @valdomarx, or @a-kind-of-merry-war I forget but I have Claimed Fic Rights from them lol. It's AI Jaskier and Cyborg Geralt and so far most of what I have written is banter, so here, have some:
Geralt dumps the pile of metal on the floor with a sigh. Pieces kept falling off the whole way back to the room, he’s been dropping things everywhere. Jaskier has been pestering him the whole time, too, which didn’t make the journey any less annoying.
“So what is it?” Jaskier demands. “I know it’s not for you—half of these aren’t even parts you’re outfitted with, and half of what’s left is incompatible with your parts.”
“Been running scans the whole trip?” Geralt accuses, though there’s no heat in it. He wants to get this cluster of rust cleaned up before he tells Jaskier what it is. He rummages around in his bag for some rust remover.
“Of course I have! It’s not like you were talking to me!” Jaskier is up on his dignity again.
Geralt ignores Jaskier and picks the top piece—a leg—off the pile. He sprays it down and starts scrubbing.
“Geraaaaaalt,” Jaskier whines.
“It’s a surprise,” Geralt says.
“For who? For me?”
Geralt hums and inspects his handiwork. The leg isn’t much to look at, even cleaned up. It’s still scuffed and dented—he can probably work out the dent, at least—and it’s only vaguely shaped like a leg, no attempt to replicate anything organic. Jaskier’s going to hate this, probably. He likes pretty things, and this isn’t—Geralt doesn’t know anything about pretty, but he knows this is purely functional. He wonders if maybe he could paint it.
Stupid idea. He’d just make it look worse.
He works the knee-joint, testing. It grates on itself, and Jaskier complains about the noise.
Geralt fishes out a can of lubricant and sprays the joint.
“Geralt? Is the surprise for me?”
“If I say yes, will you stop asking me about it?”
“Probably not!”
“Then no.”
“You’re mean! Mean witcher. Cruel. Terrible owner.”
“Don’t call me that.” Geralt tests the joint again. It moves much more smoothly, though it’s leaking rust. He wipes it off with his sleeve.
“I promise I will never call you that again as long as you stop destroying your clothes on purpose.”
Geralt grunts. Does he have polish? He thinks he’s got metal polish somewhere. He won’t be able to make Jaskier look human, but he can at least make him look like he didn’t fall off a recycling truck.
“Who’s it for, then?” Jaskier demands.
“Roach.” Geralt puts down the leg, satisfied that he’s done as much as he can for now. He picks up the next piece—this bit’s for motherboard housing. It’s got a fair amount of circuitry in it, but that’s rusted all to hell.

blender and planned obsolescence rant
The other day I started volunteering at a local repair café. The idea is, people can bring their broken things and volunteers repair them.
First someone came in with a LED torch but the battery terminals had rusted beyond repair. Next was a lamp stand that was barely broken at all. Then came one of those early-200s CD-player radio alarm clocks, it was a pain to take apart but it turned out it just needed a new electrolytic capacitor. It went on like this for a few hours. It was very rewarding and the people who used the repair café were all quite interesting to talk to.
Then a nice anti-capitalist lady came in with her blender and explained that it had stopped working during heavy use. I started taking it apart. There were two screws at the bottom and clips about half way up but I couldn’t find what was holding it together at the top.
Tumblr media
Since it was already broken we decided to just pry harder. I pried it open all the way around the clam-shell but it stayed together so there must have been something holding it together in the centre. I removed all the stickers but they weren’t hiding anything. I tried to pry off the buttons but they wouldn’t budge. Maybe it was glued? I tried unreasonable force, slipped and it closed on my finger spraying a little blood about. A few more people tried with increasingly excessive prying tools but ultimately failed.
By this point the owner of the blender and I wanted to know what was making it so impervious so we decided that I would take it home, saw it in half and report my findings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a screw under one of the buttons. The buttons are barbed and can only be removed from the inside. Once the button had been installed at the factory, disassembly was nearly impossible.
I know designs like this are fairly common but they still really annoy me.
It gets worse:
I tested the circuit board and the motor and everything was fine except a fuse which was soldered to the PCB and inaccessible without disassembly. The fuse was the only thing limiting current to the motor so it had likely been blown when the blender was overloaded. This is bound to happen occasionally eg. when encountering a particularly thick soup.
The overload protection should have been re-usable!
A polyfuse costing <30p would likely have saved this blender from this fate. Instead after less than a year of use it encountered a thick soup, died and was impossible to repair by design.
